GENERAL QUESTIONS

Televerse is a three-day conference celebrating all things television with unprecedented access to insider secrets, craft expertise and innovations propelling television forward.

Televerse is taking place in Los Angeles, August 14 (1:00 PM - 7:00 PM), August 15 (12:00 PM - 7:00 PM) and August 16 (10:00 AM – 7:00 PM) in the JW Marriott conference center at L.A. LIVE.

Not yet. But it's coming soon! In the meantime keep up with all the news on Televerse.com. It is designed for easy access on mobile devices.

Like television itself, Televerse is open to everyone. Television Academy members, industry pros and fans are welcome!

That depends on what you want to do! Sessions start at $30 for the general public ($20 for Television Academy members, with some programming available for free).

Thought we began announcing sessions in June, new panels and panelists are being announced right up until the start of Televerse! See the programming announcements herePre-registering on our site by May 30 was the best way to ensure that you get early updates on any new panels, workshops, screenings and more.

Panelist appearances are always arranged to the best of our ability but are not guaranteed. All Programming and Sessions are subject to change and/or cancellation without notice. We will update as quickly as we can when changes happen.

Please visit the Accessibility page for information about the JW Marriott at L.A. LIVE.

FYC SESSIONS at TELEVERSE

Is there a lottery to get into second-round FYC panels?

No, second-round FYC panel tickets at Televerse are first come, first served for Television Academy voting members.

Each Television Academy voting member will be able to sign-up for 6 FYC panels for free, with a maximum of 3 free FYC panels per day.  Since there is no lottery for FYC panels, this cap on free sign-ups ensures that more members are able to attend a variety of sessions.  Each FYC panel also has a limited number of tickets available for purchase.

Yes, each FYC panel has a limited number of tickets available for purchase at a discounted member price, open to all members.

Televerse is a conference-style event, and each person must register and obtain tickets separately.  There are no plus-ones for any second-round FYC panel.

TICKETING

Televerse offers two ways to access sessions. Our per-session pricing is meant to let you build your own unique Televerse experience.  Our All Access Pass allows you to secure a seat in as many sessions as you want (subject to availability), including panels, workshops, FYCs, screenings and Q&As.  With the All Access Pass, we highly recommend you select all sessions that you wish to attend in order to guarantee a spot in that session.  You must be ticketed for at least one session to gain access to Televerse.  Each registrant will receive a badge upon check-in, and all of your ticketed sessions will be accessed using that badge.

If you need to make a change to your registered sessions, click the Tickets button in the navigation bar. To remove a session you have already registered for, simply uncheck the box next to the session(s). To add a new session, check the box next to the desired session. When you click Continue, if the changes you made adjust the amount due, you will see a new total. Please note that all ticket purchases are final, and cancelled sessions will result in credit toward other sessions, but no refunds. Those with All Access Passes can switch up their sessions at will, though the ticketing process will not allow you to double book sessions that occur at the same time.

No tickets will be sold physically on-site. All transactions must be made online through the Televerse website. All Access passes or individual session tickets may be purchased online up to an hour before a session starts.

The All Access Pass is the best value – for the price of about 6 panels, attendees with an All Access Pass can attend as many sessions as they wish, from a menu of more than 40 scintillating choices.

The Televerse Insider Package includes:

  • An All Access Pass allowing you to secure a seat in as many sessions as you want (subject to availability), including panels, workshops, FYCs, screenings and Q&As

  • Front-of-line privileges for all the panels you’ve registered for

  • 20% discount on Televerse merchandise sold on site

  • 1 year subscription to the award-winning emmy magazine

No, all tickets are associated with the badge of the person registered.

You will need to present a photo ID at the registration table to pick up your badge. Television Academy members should be prepared to show their Academy ID.

We do not offer reserved seating for tickets or passes. All seating is general admission and first come, first served. Attendees purchasing a Televerse Insider pass do get front-of-line privileges at any session for which they are registered. Those holding an All Access Pass must select their sessions  via the Televerse Tickets page to ensure a spot at any given session.

Lines form approximately 30 minutes prior to session start time. Seating for ticketed attendees will begin approximately 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time.

We recommend guests arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of all scheduled Televerse sessions. All guests must be seated 5 minutes prior to the scheduled start time.

Don’t plan on it. Even with a paid ticket, late arrivals will only be allowed entry on a space-available basis and are not guaranteed.

Ticketing for a session guarantees you a seat in that session, so long as you are seated for that session 5 minutes prior to its start time.  After a session’s start time, no seat is guaranteed. Those holding an All Access Pass must select a session via the Televerse Tickets page to ensure a spot at any given session.

There will be standby lines for Televerse All Access Pass holders who have not pre-selected a session on their Televerse Tickets page.

Academy Member No-Shows will only be counted for voting members who do not attend a complimentary FYC event for which they’ve signed up.  To cancel attendance at an FYC event, click the Tickets button in the navigation bar and then uncheck the box next to the FYC session in question. Then click Continue to update your tickets.
