GENERAL QUESTIONS
What is Televerse?
Televerse is a three-day conference celebrating all things television with unprecedented access to insider secrets, craft expertise and innovations propelling television forward.
Where and when is Televerse?
Televerse is taking place in Los Angeles, August 14 (1:00 PM-7:00 PM), August 15 (1:00 PM- 7:00 PM) and August 16 (10:00 AM – 7:00 PM) in the JW Marriott conference center at L.A. LIVE.
Is there a Televerse app?
Not yet. But we keep our website updated with all new news, and it is designed for easy access on mobile devices.
Is Televerse only open to Television Academy members?
Like television itself, Televerse is open to everyone. Television Academy members, industry pros and fans are welcome!
How much does it cost to attend?
That depends on what you want to do! Sessions start at $30 for the general public ($20 for Television Academy members, with some programming available for free). With the purchase of any session ticket comes access to the Televerse Exhibit Floor, with exhibits and displays from studio, network and technology partners.
When will you be announcing your event line-up?
We expect to begin announcing session as early as June, but panels and new panelists will be announced right up until the start of Televerse. See the first programming announcement here. Pre-registering on our site by May 30 was the best way to ensure that you get early updates on any new panels, workshops, screenings and more.
Panelist appearances are always arranged to the best of our ability but are not guaranteed. All Programming and Sessions are subject to change and/or cancellation without notice. We will update as quickly as we can when changes happen.
Is the Televerse space accessible?
Accessibility information for the JW Marriott at L.A. LIVE can be found here.
Can I bring my child with me to Televerse?
You must be 18 years or older to purchase a Televerse session ticket.
Some content may not be suitable for anyone under the age of 18. Attendees between 12 and 17 years of age are allowed to attend Televerse, but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times, and both must be registered for each session the minor will attend.
Children under 12 years of age are not permitted to attend Televerse Programming or Events.
Where do I park and does my Televerse registration include parking?
Television Academy Members enjoy complimentary parking for Televerse with admission. You will receive a validation ticket when you check in. Parking information will be provided once we begin taking reservations/selling tickets for specific events.
Other attendees have the option of pre-paying for parking at a discounted rate through the Televerse ticketing portal. If you choose not to prepay, then you are responsible for your own parking. There are plenty of public lots around the JW Marriott L.A. LIVE.
