One of DOC NYC's 40 under 40, Alex Schmider is an Emmy® nominated producer and the Senior Director of Entertainment at GLAAD. His independent film producing credits include "Chasing Chasing Amy", "Changing the Game" (Hulu), "Disclosure" (Netflix), "Framing Agnes", and "Stay on Board: The Leo Baker Story" (Netflix), among other documentary titles in development. A member of the Producers Guild of America and the Television Academy, he is also on the Board of the 19th News, an independent nonprofit newsroom reporting on gender, politics, and policy.
